What ages are birthday parties at Little Bears for?
Our parties are designed for children aged 1 to 9. The youngest guests have their own gentle toddler zone, while older children have climbing, sliding and pretend play to sink their teeth into — so mixed-age groups work really well.
How many children can join a birthday party?
Parties are planned around your guest list. Tell us how many children you would like to invite and their ages, and we will confirm the best timing, setup and party package for your group.
How far in advance should I book a birthday party?
A few weeks ahead is ideal, especially for weekend dates, which tend to fill first. If your preferred day is already taken, tell us the date and we will suggest the closest alternative that still works for you.
Will rain or the weather affect a birthday party at Little Bears?
No. Everything at the Playwood happens indoors under one roof, so a Trivandrum birthday stays exactly as planned — rain, heat or humidity.
Can parents and grandparents stay for the party?
Yes. Family are welcome to stay, and our parent lounge gives grown-ups a comfortable place to sit, relax and enjoy the celebration while the children play.
Do we need to bring our own birthday cake?
Yes. Cake is not arranged by us, so most families bring their own — tell us roughly when you would like to cut it and we will help the party flow around that moment.
Do you provide decorations for a birthday party?

Nothing complicated — just a handful of small things that keep the Playwood clean, safe and welcoming for every family who walks in.

Socks on the play floor
For the comfort and hygiene of every little guest, socks are a must inside the play area — for grown-ups too. Shoes and bare feet stay at the entrance, and this small habit keeps the soft play fresh and clean for the children who crawl, climb and tumble on it.

A grown-up close by
Children play best when someone they trust is nearby, so we ask that every child is accompanied and supervised by a parent, grandparent or guardian for the whole visit. Our team keeps a friendly eye over the space, while the day-to-day care of your child stays with the family who came with them.

Food and drinks in the lounge
To keep the play floor clean, dry and free of spills, outside food and drinks are best enjoyed in the parent lounge rather than inside the play area. Tuck in before or after play, and do let us know in advance if you are bringing a birthday cake or party treats.
